DEREK DOOLEY, OWNER/PRESIDENT
Derek is the owner and president of Hamilton-Steele. In this capacity, Derek is responsible for leading an experienced and talented team of over 130 employees. Derek's primary role is to provide strategic vision for the company and to help the commercial maintenance, installation, sales and accounting managers grow and take their employees to the next level. Derek is actively involved with key commercial and residential accounts as well as industry associations. Prior to acquiring Hamilton-Steele, Derek worked as a management consultant where his ultimate responsibility was to lead senior management teams through strategic business change. Derek gained an appreciation for the landscaping industry in his earlier years through hands on experience with his own operation. Derek has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Baylor University and an MBA from Rice University. Derek is committed to continued improvement and growth at Hamilton-Steele. This philosophy will result in Hamilton-Steele remaining a top-tier provider of design/build services in the region for years to come.

DEREK STEELE, GENERAL MANAGER
Derek is the General Manager and a co-founder of Hamilton-Steele. Prior to launching Hamilton-Steele, Derek worked for 6 years in the construction industry. In addition to a strong construction background Derek has over 14 years experience in landscaping, construction, sales and marketing. He is also finalizing his Master Pool Builders Certification with the National Spa and Pool Institute. Derek's primary role with Hamilton-Steele is to oversee the landscape and pool installation departments. He is also responsible for developing and implementing the sales and marketing plans. Derek is very involved with the Houston Apartment Association and is a member of the better government fund. His primary goal is to change the face of the landscape and pool industry by providing a level of service and professionalism that is rare in the industry. Since day one of the company's inception he has stayed focused on developing and implementing a strategy to make Hamilton-Steele a step above the competition.

DWIGHT MACDONALD, A.S.L.A.
Dwight MacDonald, A.S.L.A. is the company's
landscape architect and a key part of senior the management. He has
over 30 years experience in the landscaping business. Dwight holds
a degree in landscape architecture from LSU. Dwight's accolades include
being the landscape architect for the city of Clearlake, and 4 national
landscape architecture awards. His addition to Hamilton-Steele brings
a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the company. |

JEFF SZYMCZAK, LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECT
Jeff Szymczak is a Landscape Architect graduate
from Texas A&M University and has over 10 years of experience
in the design and landscape industry. Jeff is responsible for design,
project management, and sales within the Hamilton-Steele organization.
Jeff has developed an extensive knowledge of working with various
species of plants and combining those textures and colors within the
overall landscape. His enjoyment of working with people has also developed
into one of his keys for success when working with the client during
the design or installation phase. "There is nothing more satisfying
than using the creative process on a new design and then taking the
plan to a whole new level when installing it." |

JEFF WADSWORTH, INSTALLATION
MANAGER
Jeff Wadsworth is a Installation Manager for
Hamilton-Steele who has worked in the landscape industry for ten years.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.
Jeff feels one of his greatest assets is his relationship with clients.
"I feel it is my duty to create a landscape that is a direct
extension of the client’s vision and to use my experience and
knowledge to turn that vision into a high-quality outdoor living space".
Jeff is responsible for all aspects of pool and landscape project
management. In addition, Jeff is Safety Coordinator for the Installation
Department. |

PAM WOOLRIDGE, OFFICE MANAGER
Pam Wooldridge brings over 15 years office
Management and bookeeping experience to Hamilton-Steele. She is
responsible for managing all accounting as well as general office
management functions. Pam is Hamilton-Steele’s frontline to
customer service and her belief in "treating our customer’s
like family" shows in all she does. She is a valued member
of the team. |

BRANDT DILLON, LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Brandt comes to Hamilton-Steele with over 10 years of experience in landscape maintenance, design and installation. Brandt also brings extensive irrigation knowledge having passed the Licensed Irrigators exam administered by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in 1999. Brandt believes that quality and service are the cornerstones to lasting relationships. “Put simply, my only concern is your total satisfaction.” Brandt currently manages a staff of 30 knowledgeable, highly motivated, hard working employees who feel the same.
