Our team of landscaping professionals is lead by registered landscape architect Dwight McDonald, A.S.L.A. Dwight has more than 30 years experience in landscaping, 18 of those years owning a wholesale nursery. Dwight's accolades include being the original landscape architect for the city of Kingwood, Texas, and former landscape architect for the city of Clear Lake, Texas. Dwight has won four national awards for his exceptional landscape architecture. He is a registered member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

The company began operations in 1996 as Steele Contracting. We have continued to expand and enhance our skills throughout the years while maintaining the core values that set Hamilton-Steele apart: Service, Integrity and Dedication. The founding motivation behind Hamilton-Steele is the desire to change the face of the landscaping industry by providing customers with a level of service and professionalism that is scarce in the industry.
